Learn more at www.hbfuller.com. Primary Responsibilities Lead scale‑up of new and existing products and translate formulations into clear manufacturing instructions. Validate process parameters, equipment settings, and quality methods. Investigate deviations, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement CAPAs. Provide technical support to production and participate in MOC activities. Drive continuous improvement using statistical and process‑control tools. Manage raw material qualifications, evaluations, and substitutions. Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Technical Service. Ability to travel up to 10%. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Polymer Science with 6 years of experience; or Master’s degree with 4 years of experience; or PhD with 2 years of experience. Experience in chemical manufacturing and product scale‑up. Background in adhesives, polymers, coatings, or chemical processes. Preferred Requirements Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma (DMAIC, 8D, FMEA, 5S). Experience with 1K/2K polyurethane technologies (solvent‑based and solvent‑free). Familiarity with analytical techniques (FTIR, DSC, viscosity, solids, etc.). Bilingual: English and Spanish. Work Environment Work performed in both plant and office settings. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for sample handling. Must follow all plant safety protocols and PPE requirements. #LI-OA1 H.B.
