Software Deployment Specialist

Job Summary:. We are looking for a skilled Software Deployment Specialist / Patch Management Specialist to manage software deployments, patch management, and IT infrastructure maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tanium for deployment, along with expertise in Microsoft Server environments, Windows 10 & 11, Apple OSX, virtualization, sandboxing, and network security, Key Responsibilities:. Manage the end-to-end patch management lifecycle, including assessment, testing, deployment, and reporting, Develop and maintain patch management policies, procedures, and schedules, Deploy security patches, updates, and hotfixes across endpoints, servers, and applications using patch management solution, Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements, Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to analyse vulnerability scan reports and prioritize patching based on severity levels, Work with Cyber security team to mitigate security threats related to unpatched systems, Track and report patch compliance metrics, including failed deployments and unpatched systems, Investigate and resolve patch deployment failures and compatibility issues, Provide technical support to teams for patch-related issues, Enhance automated patching processes to reduce manual intervention and downtime, Work on patching schedules to minimize impact on business operations, Required Skills & Experience:. Technical Expertise:. Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Hands-on experience with Tanium for endpoint security and remediation, Knowledge of Windows patching processes, Familiarity with third-party application patching (Adobe, Java, etc,), Cybersecurity Knowledge:. Understanding of vulnerability management frameworks (e-g., CVSS, NIST, CIS), Experience working with Cyber security team to address security gaps, Other Skills:. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, Ability to work in fast-paced environments and prioritize tasks effectively, Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks) is a plus, Qualifications:.
