Senior Backend Developer at HAAT Location: Surat / Ahmedabad Experience Required: 7+ years in Software Engineering or a related field Educational Requirement: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred) Role Overview The Senior Backend Engineer will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing the backend systems that power our innovative delivery technology solutions. This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend, DevOps, and data engineering, to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing services. Key Responsibilities Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using C# and .NET Core. Database Management: Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability using SQL and MongoDB. Search and Caching: Build and maintain productive search and caching solutions using Elasticsearch and Redis. Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and manage backend services on Azure and GCP, ensuring high availability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. API Development: Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and gRPC services for seamless communication across microservices and frontend systems. Messaging Frameworks: Knowledge of messaging frameworks like GCP PUB/SUB. Scalability: Design systems to handle high-throughput and low-latency requirements, ensuring scalability for growing user demands. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on performance, security, and scalability. Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the team. Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and data engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and optimization of backend services.
