Java and SQL Developer

Your role will involve: - Building and working towards Finance platform transformation & Modernization - Handling large volumes of data from different systems - Expertise in Core Java, multithreading, backend processing, and transforming large data volumes - Working knowledge of Apache Flink, Apache Airflow, Apache Beam, and cloud platforms like GCP - Expertise in databases, performance tuning for big data scenarios, cloud deployments, CI/CD, and platform resiliency - Experience with Mvel and strong communication skills - Collaborating with key stakeholders to drive data solutions aligned with strategic roadmaps - Owning accountability for quality aspects and metrics of the product portfolio Qualifications required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Science Engineering, or related field - 4 years of large-scale technology engineering and formal management experience, or comparable experience - Proficiency in Java, Flink, SQ, KafkaL & GCP - Experience in engineering and deploying enterprise-grade technology products in an Agile environment - Hands-on engineering experience in Java and data/distributed eco-system - Ability to see the big picture with attention to critical details Company Benefits: American Express offers benefits and programs that prioritize the holistic well-being of colleagues and their loved ones.
