Years of experience: 3 5 Years Location: Hyderabad & Bangalore Job description for Mfg Engineer position: Experience in manufacturing processes of the products and CNC programming on 3-axis & 5-axis VMC machines. Hands-on experience with any CAM software (Mastercam and UG NX or any). Knowledge of machining processes: milling, drilling, grooving, tapping, threading, sheet metal punching, laser cutting, waterjet, and foam cutting. Good understanding of cutting tools, cutting parameters, and aerospace/engineering materials. Hands-on experience with VMC machines, machine controllers, post-processors, tool holding, and clamping devices. Experience with tool design, jigs & fixtures, and tool-holding systems. Practical shop-floor exposure and application of engineering materials in manufacturing. Prepare and validate process documentation (work instructions, SOPs). Work with UG NX (Siemens NX) CAD software, Teamcenter to extract dimensional data and validate 3D CAD models when required. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Knowledge in quality management systems (AS9100). Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and GD&T. Should have knowledge of inspection tools and measurement techniques will be an added advantage. Knowledge of material science and application of various engineering materials.
