MS Defender Exp- 3-9yrs/ Pan India // Np-30days Key Responsibilities Monitoring & Threat Detection Monitor security alerts and events from Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, and Defender for Cloud Apps . Analyze suspicious activities, correlate alerts, and determine the severity and impact of incidents. Perform proactive threat hunting using Microsoft Defender and Microsoft 365 security tools. Incident Response Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. Perform initial triage, containment, remediation, and recovery activities. Document incident findings and provide recommendations to prevent recurrences. Security Operations Manage and maintain Microsoft Defender security policies , configurations, and baselines. Work with the SOC team to optimize alert rules, detection logic, and response workflows. Ensure proper integration of Defender tools with SIEM/SOAR platforms (Azure Sentinel preferred). Reporting & Documentation Prepare detailed incident reports, dashboards, and metrics for management. Maintain SOPs, playbooks, and technical documentation for security processes. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2 5 years of experience in information security or SOC operations.
