Senior Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++ RTOS ARM Cortex)

CHENNAI LOCATION IS AVAILABLE NO FRESHER WILL BE PREFERRED We are looking for Senior Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++ RTOS ARM Cortex) as a Full Time for our IT Company. Location- Chennai Experience- 5+ years Budget- As per company standards Notice Period- Immediate Joiner Responsibilities * Design and implement hardware and software for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment. * Design, develop, code, test, and debug embedded software. * Interface with hardware design and development teams. * Analyze and enhance system efficiency, stability, and scalability. * Integrate and validate new product designs. * Support software QA and optimize I/O performance. * Provide post-production support. * Assess third-party and open-source software. * Apply state-of-the-art embedded system design to solve business problems. * Perform research and develop proof-of-concept prototypes. Requirements * Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering. * 6+ years of experience in hardware and software engineering. * 5+ years of programming experience in C. * Experience with ARM Cortex (M0/M3/M4/M7) processors. * Hands-on experience with Nordic nRF5 SDK / nRF Connect SDK. * Experience with networking technologies such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, etc. * Knowledge of MCU peripherals including UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, DAC, Timers, etc. * Experience designing embedded systems with hard real-time implementation using RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, MBED). * Hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets. * Familiarity with software configuration management, bug tracking, and peer review tools. * Experience with GCC, VS Code, IAR ARM Workbench, and Eclipse. * Knowledge of Python for test script development and automation. * Hands-on experience with Git workflows. * Strong English communication and technical documentation skills. * Ability to document system functionality, code, and methodologies. * Good presentation and visualization skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively. Preferred Skills * Experience with Linux and low-level OS/platform development. * Understanding of Linux internals. * DSP expertise and strong theoretical background. * Experience with Docker and container deployment. * Ability to build and maintain virtual machines. * Experience with IoT platforms/frameworks such as Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, and Matter. * Experience working directly with clients to deliver business outcomes. * Good understanding of Agile development methodologies. .
