Job Description Data Engineer for CoE-AI Productivity TeamLocation: BangaloreCompetency Level: C5 About the RoleWe are hiring a Principal Data Engineer for our AI Productivity CoE. This role is about using Agentic AI and GenAI tools to do data engineering faster and better. You already know how to build pipelines, transformations, and migrations the hard way. What we want is someone who can figure out how AI changes that work, build accelerators around it, and show real productivity gains to delivery teams. What Youll DoApply Agentic AI and GenAI tools to pipeline development, transformations, testing, documentation, and code migrationBuild accelerators and reusable patterns that help delivery teams move fasterBenchmark and measure the productivity gains from AI-assisted data engineeringWork across Databricks, Azure (Data Factory, Synapse), and AWS (Glue, Redshift)Evaluate tools like Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, and Amazon Q for data engineering use casesWork directly with delivery teams to prove out AI productivity in live projects What You Bring15+ years in data engineering, hands-on with pipelines, SQL, and PythonSolid experience across at least two of Databricks, Azure, and AWSStrong grounding in ETL/ELT, data modeling, and warehousingHands-on experience using AI/GenAI tools in day-to-day engineeringPractical experience with AI coding assistants and Agentic AI workflowsStrong communication, presentation, and articulation skillsExperience building accelerators, frameworks, or internal toolingComfort presenting to delivery and Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
