Backend Developer Location: Bengaluru, India Years of Experience: 8+ Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, particularly with the Spring Boot framework, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement RESTful APIs and ensure the performance and quality of our applications. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Implement RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations. Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs in the application. Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes. Mandatory Skills: Proven experience in Java development (8+ years). Strong expertise in Spring Boot framework. Experience in developing and consuming RESTful web services. Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with front-end technologies, particularly React JS (deal breaker skill). Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with Agile methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5-8 years of relevant experience in Java backend development. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
