About the role
● .NET 6 or above, with preference for .NET 8 long-term support. Strong command of C# 10+ features: records, nullable reference types, pattern matching, and primary constructors. ● ASP.NET Core Web API: minimal APIs, middleware pipelines, dependency injection, and request validation. ● Entity Framework Core with migration management, query optimization, and relationship mapping. ● Testing: xUnit or NUnit with Moq or NSubstitute. Integration testing using WebApplicationFactory and TestContainers for .NET. ● Azure Services integration: Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure Key Vault for secrets management. ● Tooling: dotnet CLI, NuGet, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines for CI/CD. ● Code quality: Roslyn analyzers, StyleCop, or SonarQube for .NET. Code coverage enforced via coverlet. ● Messaging and async patterns: Azure Service Bus, MassTransit, MediatR for CQRS/event-based decoupling. ● Semantic Kernel proficiency: plugin development, planner usage, and agent loop construction for enterprise automation. ● Azure OpenAI Service integration: embedding generation, chat completion with function calling, and RAG pattern implementation. ● Azure AI Search with vector and hybrid search configurations. Index design and retrieval pipeline tuning. ● MCP integration from .NET: consuming MCP servers via REST transport, building MCP-compatible tool endpoints, and agent-tool binding. ● Microsoft Copilot extensibility patterns: familiarity with Copilot Studio, declarative agents, or Teams AI Library a plus. ● .NET 6 or above, with preference for .NET 8 long-term support.
