SENIOR ENGINEER - Network Management

Job Title: Network Engineer L2 - Network Operations Role Overview The Network Engineer L2 is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organizations network infrastructure. This includes managing firewalls, switches, ISPs, Zscaler, Wi-Fi, and troubleshooting network issues to ensure secure and reliable connectivity. Key Responsibilities Network Management : Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, and overall network performance. Firewall Administration : Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls to ensure secure access. Switches Configuration : Handle installation, configuration, and maintenance of network switches. ISP Coordination : Manage relationships with Internet Service Providers, ensuring uptime and resolving connectivity issues. Zscaler Support : Administer Zscaler cloud security services for secure web access. Wi-Fi Management : Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot wireless networks across the organization. Troubleshooting : Resolve escalated network issues within agreed SLAs. Documentation : Maintain network diagrams, configuration records, and incident logs. Collaboration : Work with IT security and infrastructure teams for advanced problem resolution and projects. Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall technologies. Experience with Zscaler, Cisco/Aruba/Forti switches, and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions. Familiarity with ISP management and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Good understanding of network security principles. 2 - 4 years of network support/administration experience preferred.
