TECHNICAL LEAD - Identity Management (LCM/RBAC)

Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist Years of Experience: 5+ years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist to implement, maintain, and support IAM solutions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in directory services, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and access control mechanisms. This role requires a proactive approach to user and account management, troubleshooting IAM-related issues, and ensuring compliance with security policies. Responsibilities: Implement and configure IAM solutions, including Active Directory (AD), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), and MFA systems. Manage user identities and access rights, including provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, and handling service accounts. Ensure adherence to secure configuration standards and best practices. Diagnose and resolve IAM-related issues and incidents, providing technical support to users as needed. Monitor IAM systems for security vulnerabilities and performance issues, implementing necessary improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IAM solutions align with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Document IAM processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes. Mandatory Skills: Proven experience with Identity Management Lifecycle Management (LCM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). Strong knowledge of IAM solutions, specifically with tools such as Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, or similar platforms. Experience with Directory Services and multi-factor authentication (MFA) implementations. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues effectively. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with IAM compliance frameworks and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of IAM tasks. Knowledge of security best practices and risk management principles. Certifications in IAM or related fields (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP, Certified Identity and Access Manager - CIAM) are a plus. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IAM implementation and management.
