Role Overview: As a Summer Intern at HARMAN Automotive, you will have the opportunity to work on software development, defects resolution, static code analysis, and unit testing activities for real-world automotive software components. You will collaborate with senior engineers to understand component architecture and quality expectations, while leveraging AI tools to accelerate UT generation and improve code quality. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and fix static code analysis (SCA) warnings for assigned software components. - Develop and improve unit tests to increase coverage and effectiveness. - Work with GitHub workflows (branches, pull requests, reviews). - Utilize AI tools (GitHub Copilot AI assistants) to accelerate UT generation and enhance code quality. - Collaborate with senior engineers to understand component architecture and quality expectations. Qualifications Required: - Good programming knowledge in C/C and/or Java. - Basic understanding of unit testing concepts. - Familiarity with Git/GitHub. - Interest in using AI tools for software development and testing. - Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. - Willingness to work from the office.
