About the role
As a Backend Developer / Data Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining a robust, scalable, and secure software platform for our customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Writing clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code following best practices. - Implementing and maintaining backend APIs using FastAPI or Django. - Ensuring application performance, scalability, and security. - Debugging and resolving issues reported by QA or end users. - Conducting code reviews and maintaining documentation. - Building ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows. - Working with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Having experience working with AWS and GCP cloud platforms. - Engaging in Docker container-based development. - Implementing CI/CD pipelines. Your key qualifications should include: - Expert knowledge of Python backend development. - Experience with FastAPI or Django / Django REST Framework (4+ years). - Building data pipelines using Python. - Strong system design and architecture understanding. - Working in Linux environments. - Experience with monitoring and alerting systems. In addition, you should possess Cloud & Data Engineering Skills such as: - AWS : S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, RDS, ECS, CloudWatch - GCP : Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run - Data ingestion pipeline development - Batch and streaming data workflows - Data modeling and warehouse concepts Furthermore, you should have DevOps Skills like: - CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, Cloud Build) - Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation / Terraform) - Container deployment workflows - Monitoring and logging systems Desirable skills that would be a plus include: - Test-driven development - Frontend experience (HTML, CSS, JS) - Vue / React familiarity - Experience with Grafana or CloudWatch dashboards - Exposure to digital signage / marketing platforms As a Backend Developer / Data Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining a robust, scalable, and secure software platform for our customers.
