Elasticsearch Engineer

Role Overview: As a Search Engine Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable search and retrieval systems. Your main focus will be on implementing search functionality using Elasticsearch and Solr, working with large datasets, and fine-tuning relevance algorithms to improve search accuracy. Additionally, you will collaborate with data engineering and application teams to integrate search capabilities and resolve performance issues within the search infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement search functionality using Elasticsearch and Solr. - Work with large datasets to extract, index, and enable efficient data retrieval. - Fine-tune relevance algorithms and develop custom analyzers to improve search accuracy. - Collaborate with data engineering and application teams to integrate search capabilities. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues within the search infrastructure. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in search engine engineering. - Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch. - Experience with Solr. - Ability to manage large-scale datasets and indexing processes. - Experience optimizing search relevance and custom analyzers. - Any Graduate degree.
