Reports Developer/Data Insights Analyst

As a Reports Developer / Data Insights Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing insightful dashboards, validating data pipelines, and ensuring the accuracy of business data solutions. Your strong analytical thinking, hands-on SQL expertise, and experience with reporting platforms will be key assets in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and enhance interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and IBM Cognos Analytics. - Collaborate with Senior Data Insights Specialists to deliver reporting solutions aligned with business requirements. - Utilize data from various business sources, DB2 Datamarts, and data stores for reporting purposes. - Perform analytics testing to maintain data accuracy and consistency. - Extract, transform, and prepare datasets for reporting using SQL. - Create visualizations to support business decision-making. Data Management & ETL Testing: - Validate ETL developments and enhancements using SQL-based testing. - Ensure data quality, completeness, and accuracy. - Support enterprise data projects and larger-scale analytics initiatives. - Log defects, track issues, and collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams for resolutions. - Develop SQL-based testing processes and validation frameworks. Required Technical Skills: - Strong hands-on experience in SQL. - Expertise in Tableau Dashboard Development. - Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics and Cognos Transformer. - Knowledge of OLAP Modeling (Cognos). - Understanding of Data Visualization and Report Design. - Experience in ETL Testing and Data Validation. - Familiarity with structured databases and data warehousing concepts. Additional Preferred Skills: - Python and SAS Programming. - MS Access proficiency. - Advanced MS Excel skills. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, dashboard development, or data validation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities. - Ability to work independently and within cross-functional global teams.
