Senior Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer at Hatch in Gurgaon/ Gurugram, you will have the opportunity to work independently on projects in the Mining, Energy, and Infrastructure industries. You will participate in a wide range of projects covering civil foundations and structural steel design, including finite element modeling, Dynamic Analysis of structures & foundations, and engineering calculations. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting the Lead Engineer with project deliverables related to scope, cost, and schedule - Preparing engineering calculations following relevant standards and project procedures - Checking engineering calculations and drawings as per project standards - Liaising with global peers across the Hatch business - Coordinating effectively with other disciplines for successful delivery of project deliverables Qualifications required for this role include: - Degree in Civil Engineering - 8+ years of structural design experience in Industrial projects - Proficiency in software such as Staad Pro, Mathcad, spreadsheets, databases, etc. - Fundamental knowledge in finite element analysis - Proficiency in structural design of reinforced concrete and steel structures - Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multi-discipline project teams - Design experience in Metal and Mining Industry - Ability to work towards cost targets, quality targets, and deadlines while striving for continuous improvement At Hatch, you will benefit from a flexible work environment and long-term career development opportunities.
