About the role
Role Summary We are looking for a right-brained Architect to perform all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction. You will be involved in new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations and conservations from the earliest stages right through to completion. The goal is to match clients needs and to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. Key Responsibilities A. Design & Drafting Prepare and modify architectural drawings, plans, and presentations using AutoCAD. Prepare and manage all project documentation, including working drawings, structural drawings, and sales materials. Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections. Follow architectural trends and advancements. B. Project Management & Execution Manage projects from design through execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Design residential and commercial buildings in compliance with municipal regulations, signing off on plans as necessary. Oversee the process of design approvals, incorporating feedback from site execution teams and design consultants. Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of final outputs. Compile project specifications within the budget and timeline. C. Site Supervision & Coordination Conduct site visits and supervise project progress as needed. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, site engineers, in-house engineers, and external consultants. Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project. Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals. D. Technical Architecture & Infrastructure Understand company needs to define system specifications. Plan and design the structure of a technology solution. Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure. Desired Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and advanced tools such as 3D Max, SketchUp, Photoshop, and BIM. Knowledge of design standards, industry regulations, MEP, and structural design coordination. Experience in residential, commercial, or interior projects. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines Personal Attributes Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
