JOB INFORMATION Job Title Name: Manager - Product Development JOB PURPOSE The individual provides technical leadership and expertise for developing and supporting new and existing software products at HCA Healthcare. He/She will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions that align with business goals. This role involves managing a team of engineers, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and driving innovation in cloud infrastructure and application development. This role requires effective collaboration with our HQ teams in the US and with cross-functional teams to implement robust cloud strategies and applications while optimizing performance and costs. This individual will analyze business requirements, perform design tasks, construct, test, and implement solutions with little supervision in an agile development environment, and mentor other developers. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Development and Project Management - Ensure Development Standards: Maintain code and version control using HCA Healthcare standards. - Lead Development Projects: Oversee projects from inception to implementation. - Unit Testing and Code Reviews: Ensure thorough testing and peer reviews. - Advanced Troubleshooting: Provide advanced user support and troubleshooting. Technology Adoption and Innovation - Establish KPIs: Set and evaluate key performance indicators for technology adoption. - Process Improvement: Implement changes to enhance technology adoption. - Training: Conduct and ensure relevant training for technology adoption. - Technology Acquisition: Identify and manage the acquisition of new technologies. Emerging Technologies - Research and Evaluation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential for organizational use. - Innovation Implementation: Lead the implementation of cutting-edge technologies to enhance business processes. - Pilot Programs: Develop and manage pilot programs for new technolog .
