About the role
Imaging Migration Analyst Position Summary The Imaging Migration Analyst performs the migration of clinical imaging data required for system transitions, integrations, and implementation. Key activities include but are not limited to data validation, documentation, testing, issue tracking, and customer communication to help complete migrations with minimal disruption to clinical and business operations. The Imaging Migration Analyst will follow established migration processes, support system configuration and integration tasks, and confirm that migrated data and workflows meet approved requirements. This role works with internal teams, vendors, and customer contacts to collect information, update project records, escalate issues, and provide timely status updates. Major Responsibilities Creates and documents migration plans for clinical imaging data and systems. Executes the migration of clinical imaging data and systems. Collect, validate, and document source system, workflow, and data requirements for assigned migration tasks. Track migration tasks, issues, risks, and dependencies in approved project and service management tools. Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks before, during, and after migrations. Collaborates on, and completes testing of migrated data, interfaces, workflows, and application access. Troubleshoots migration issues and escalates complex technical problems to senior analysts, vendors, or technical teams. Prepare and maintain migration documentation, meeting notes, status updates, and support records. Communicate clearly with internal teams, vendors, and customers about assigned work, status, and open issues. Follow ITSM, change management, and service operations processes for assigned migration work. Coordinates and communicates system downtime, upgrade, and change schedule details related to data migrations. Creation and maintenance of data flow diagrams, application inventories, and support matrices. Work with vendors to gather technical details and confirm completion of assigned action items. Participate in integration setup, validation, and decommissioning tasks as assigned. Monitor assigned applications, integrations, or migration activities and report availability or performance concerns. Understand clinical imaging workflows, data migration methods, and related applications. Communicate effectively with product owners, analysts, project managers, and technical teams during the delivery of migration-related work. Contribute suggestions for improving documentation, validation steps, and migration workflows. Education & Experience Required High school diploma or GED. Preferred Associate's degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Imaging Informatics, or a related field. 02 years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical imaging, data support, application support, help desk, or another technical support role. Experience with Microsoft Office, ticketing systems, data review, documentation, or basic reporting. Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Licenses, Certifications, & Training Preferred Relevant certifications in data migration, IT systems, healthcare IT, or imaging applications.
