Position Summary The Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) is responsible for building and maintaining automated testing frameworks, improving software quality processes, and ensuring enterprise applications meet performance, reliability, and security expectations. This role partners closely with development, DevOps, product, and QA teams to establish scalable testing strategies and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and backend services Develop automated functional, regression, integration, performance, and end-to-end test suites Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and quality standards Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release management processes Perform root cause analysis for defects and improve testing coverage to prevent regressions Create test strategies and quality metrics for enterprise applications Participate in architecture and design discussions to improve application testability Develop reusable testing utilities and frameworks to improve engineering efficiency Mentor QA engineers and junior SDETs on automation best practices Support production validation, troubleshooting, and defect triage activities Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to software quality and automation Education & Experience Experience: 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation engineering Background: Experience developing automated testing frameworks and integrating testing into CI/CD workflows Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline Must Have Skills Strong experience with automated testing frameworks and tools Experience with API testing, UI testing, and integration testing Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies Experience with test case design, defect management, and quality metrics Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to influence quality practices across engineering teams Nice to Have Skills Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Experience with performance and load testing tools Healthcare industry experience Experience with containerized environments and microservices testing Knowledge of security testing concepts Licenses, Certifications & Training ISTQB Certification preferred Certified Agile Tester or equivalent preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors Strong attention to detail and quality mindset Ability to drive quality initiatives across multiple teams Strong collaboration and mentorship skills Ability to prioritize testing activities in fast-paced environments Commitment to continuous improvement and automation Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
