Position : Business Intelligence Developer

Job Duties :

Interacting with business users to analyze the business process and transforming requirements into OBIEE reports and dashboards.Analyze complete business requirement, developing block diagrams and logical flow charts, and translating detailed design into OBIEE application.Participate in ETL design for star schema modelling.Develop metadata model for OBIEE repository.Implementing Opaque views wherever necessary.Implementing dimensional hierarchies.Design and develop logical data model in BMM layer.Configure object level and data level security within OBIEE.Configure Linux servers with required prerequisites like Java (JDK), Apache Tom Cat and get the required ports opened.Create appropriate database indexes wherever applicable.Create complex testing procedures in agile development environment.Write SQL queries to compare the data against reports data for testing.Support the application for any issues while QA testing and initial Production support.Create documents wherever required to explain the functionality and logic behind the reports.Create user guides and manuals for running reports and dashboards.Train users on ad-hoc reporting using different subject areas.

Work Location :

various unanticipated work locations throughout the United States; relocation may be required. Must be willing to relocate.

Minimum Requirements:

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field
