Position : Sr. Big Data Developer

Job Duties :

Under limited supervision, analyze, design, develop and provide solutions for complex Big Data and Analytic projects; provide expertise during full SDLC; gather user requirements; perform functional design, requirements analysis and create action plan; design application framework and technical architecture; translate complex business process, rules and workflows into applications by creating technical design documents with algorithms, flowcharts, tools/technology and process flow; design, develop and code Big Data, BI and UI applications; develop databases and database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures and functions; implement workflows for data transfer; implement and maintain security and governance policies; develop framework to import data from RBMS sources into Hadoop; develop and customize BI tools, dashboards and reports; customize user interface; develop and direct testing and QA procedures; coordinate testing; coordinate project architecture implementation, application deployment, support and maintenance; and use: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, SSIS, Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Pig, Map Reduce, Sqoop, Oozie, HDFS, HIVE, Python, C#, SSRS, Qlikview, Java, Attunity, Alteryx, SSIS, ODBC, Shell Script, Spark SQL, Ranger, GitHub and related tools.

Minimum Qualifications Education

• Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

• Experience : Two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Programmer or in a related occupation;

• Other Requirements :

• Experience must include two (2) years of work with Oracle, SSIS, HDFS, HIVE, Python and C#; must be willing to relocate.
