Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

Position : Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Duties :

Under limited supervision, produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories, developing interactive dashboards and generating reports; collaborate with managers and decision makers to identify and solve problems and clarify objectives; analyze BI needs, interpret requirements and translate into reports; collect business intelligence data; use data visualization tools to analyze and obtain insights into large datasets, create visually compelling and actionable interactive reports and dashboards; convert function specifications into technical specifications for dashboards and reports; perform data blending and increase dashboard performance; create business intelligence tools and systems, including databases, dashboards, reports and other outputs; manage flow of business intelligence information to users; create filters/parameters, sets, bins, expressions and actions; create connections to database and servers; coordinate tests to ensure intelligence is consistent with business needs; train users to produce documents and run queries; and utilize the following tools and technologies: Unix, Windows, SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, Hadoop, SAP HANA, Toad, Tableau, Sharepoint, Quality Center, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, SSRS, SSIS, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, XML and related tools.

Minimum Qualifications Education

• Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

• Experience : Two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst or in a related occupation;

• Other Requirements:

• Experience must include two (2) years of work with Unix, Sharepoint, Tableau, Business Objects, SSRS and SSIS; must be willing to relocate.
