Sr. OBIEE Developer

Position : Sr. OBIEE Developer

Job Duties :

Under limited supervision, design, develop, test, and implement complex client-server and web-based software application systems; gather analytics/report requirements; design systems using object oriented techniques and UML; write technical and functional design specifications based on business requirements; develop and support applications; build data models; develop metadata repositories; migrate data from legacy systems to the current system being developed; perform installation and configuration of OBIEE versions on stand-alone systems and map to database; manage application builds, prepare reports, test planning, and prepare user guides for the use of OBIEE Analytics; develop dashboards with drill down capabilities for KPIs; create and manage highly formatted reports and schedule report delivery; develop and execute test plans; automate test cases and execute them for each release; develop performance tuning strategies and coordinate performance tuning of code; work closely with the production support team to fix high priority production issues; assist with deployment of application builds into production; mentor/assist less experienced team members; and use: Windows, UNIX, Linux, IIS, Apache, Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle, Siebel Analytics, Tableau, Cognos, SAS, Informatica, Toad, Eclipse, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, HTML, C, C++, and related.

Minimum Qualifications Education

• Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

• Experience : One (1) year of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Programmer or in a related occupation;

• Other Requirements:

• Experience must include one (1) year of work with OBIEE, Siebel Analytics, Tableau, Cognos and SAS; must be willing to relocate.
