About the role
DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mobile Automation Engineer with expertise in Appium to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application testing and automation, with a passion for ensuring high-quality user experiences. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications.Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools.Perform regression testing to ensure application stability and performance after new releases.Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework and scripts.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.Skills and Qualifications2-12 years of experience in mobile automation testing with Appium.Strong understanding of mobile application development and testing methodologies.Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.Ability to analyze requirements and develop test plans and test cases accordingly.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. .
