About the role
We are looking for a skilled Analog Circuit Engineer to join our semiconductor/VLSI design team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, simulation, and verification of analog and mixed-signal circuits for high-performance semiconductor products. Key Responsibilities Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuits such as amplifiers, comparators, bandgap references, LDOs, PLLs, ADC/DAC, SerDes, and power management blocks. Perform transistor-level circuit design, simulation, and optimization for performance, power, area, and reliability. Work on schematic entry, pre-layout and post-layout simulations. Perform corner, Monte Carlo, noise, mismatch, and reliability analysis. Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure proper layout implementation and resolve layout-related issues. Work closely with verification, digital, and system teams to ensure seamless integration. Participate in silicon bring-up, characterization, debugging, and lab validation. Prepare design documentation and review reports. Required Skills Strong understanding of analog circuit fundamentals and CMOS device physics. Hands-on experience in analog/mixed-signal design. Good experience in one or more of the following: High-speed Analog Design PLL / Clocking Circuits SerDes ADC / DAC Power Management / LDO / Bandgap Data Converters Experience with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE, HSPICE, or similar. Strong knowledge of pre-layout and post-layout simulations. Experience in deep sub-micron technology nodes (28nm / 16nm / 7nm or below) is preferred. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Skill, Perl, Python, or Tcl is an added advantage. Qualifications BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Electronics, VLSI, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Skills Experience working with global semiconductor customers. Exposure to silicon validation and debug. Experience in customer-facing roles and technical discussions. Knowledge of automotive, networking, or high-speed communication domains is a plus.
