Job Description: Playwright Automation Test Engineer (Java + REST Assured) Fill The form: Automation Testing – Fill out form Job Title: Playwright Automation Test Engineer Experience: 4 to 10 Years Location: Madurai Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Playwright Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Playwright, and REST Assured to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust automation frameworks for web and API testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright with Java . Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks. Perform API automation testing using REST Assured . Create and execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration test suites. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for issue resolution. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines . Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners. Prepare test plans, test cases, test data, and automation reports. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives. Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage. Required Skills 4 to 10 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation. Strong programming skills in Java . Hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Framework . Experience in API Automation Testing using REST Assured . Strong knowledge of TestNG/JUnit . Experience with Maven/Gradle build tools. Familiarity with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket version control systems. Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools . Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber . Knowledge of SQL and database testing. Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience in performance or security testing is an added advantage.
