Enterprise Security Architect

As an Enterprise Security Architecture Reviewer (ESAR), you play a crucial governance-focused role in evaluating and validating security architecture designs for enterprise IT initiatives. Your responsibilities include: - Evaluate solution architectures to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards, regulatory frameworks, and Security Architecture Review Board (SARB) guidelines. - Actively participate in SARB proceedings by providing technical recommendations and risk assessments for new applications, infrastructure, and integrations. - Maintain detailed documentation of review outcomes, approval status, conditional recommendations, and follow-up actions to ensure traceability and alignment with ESA process qualifiers. - Engage with stakeholders like business owners, solution architects, and subject matter experts to clarify requirements, assess risks, guide remediation efforts, and provide feedback on architecture submissions. - Review and validate the implementation of security controls such as encryption, authentication, access management, logging, and incident response mechanisms. - Conduct assessments of third-party tools and platforms for compliance with enterprise security architecture standards and recommend compensatory controls as necessary.
