Send resumes to: with below details: Name: Exp: CTC: ECTC: Notice period: Current location: Job Summary: Deployment + Scaling Expert (Helm Charts / Kubernetes) with 6+ years of experience to lead the design, packaging, and operation of cloud-native application deployments using Kubernetes and Helm. You will be the go-to engineer for defining deployment standards, scaling strategies, and release automation that enable reliable, repeatable rollouts across multi-environment Kubernetes clusters. Key Responsibilities: - Helm Chart Development: Design, author, and maintain production-grade Helm charts for complex multi-service applications; enforce chart best practices including templating, values management, and library charts. - Kubernetes Cluster Management: Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, or on-premises RKE2/k3s); handle node pool configuration, taints, tolerations, affinity rules, and resource quotas. - Deployment Strategies: Implement and manage advanced deployment patterns including blue/green, canary, and rolling updates using Argo Rollouts, Flagger, or native Kubernetes primitives. - Horizontal & Vertical Scaling: Configure and tune HPA (Horizontal Pod Autoscaler), VPA (Vertical Pod Autoscaler), KEDA event-driven autoscaling, and cluster autoscaler for cost-efficient workload scaling. - Release Automation: Integrate Helm with CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, Flux, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for GitOps-driven continuous delivery. - Configuration & Secret Management: Manage environment-specific configurations using Helm values overrides, Kustomize overlays, and secrets management solutions (Vault Agent, External Secrets Operator, Sealed Secrets). - Observability & Troubleshooting: Instrument deployments for health checks, readiness/liveness probes, and PodDisruptionBudgets; integrate with Prometheus/Grafana for deployment-level SLO monitoring. - Multi-Tenancy & RBAC: Design namespace strategies, RBAC policies, and network policies to support multi-tenant Kubernetes environments. - Capacity Planning: Analyze workload resource utilization; provide recommendations for right-sizing, spot/preemptible node strategies, and cluster cost optimization. - Documentation & Standards: Maintain deployment runbooks, Helm chart documentation, and define organizational standards for packaging and releasing containerized applications. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience: 6+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE roles with at least 3 years of hands-on Helm and Kubernetes production experience. - Helm Mastery: Deep expertise in Helm v3: chart templating (Go templates, Sprig functions), hooks, library charts, chart repositories (OCI/Harbor), and Helmfile for multi-release management. - Kubernetes: Solid understanding of Kubernetes core objects (Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, Jobs, CronJobs), networking (Ingress, Gateway API, Services), and storage (PVCs, StorageClasses). - Autoscaling: Hands-on experience with HPA, VPA, KEDA, and cluster autoscaler across at least one major cloud provider. - GitOps & CI/CD: Experience with ArgoCD or Flux for GitOps delivery; integration of Helm into Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Tekton pipelines. - Container Technologies: Proficiency with Docker, multi-stage builds, container image optimization, and image scanning (Trivy, Grype, or equivalent). - Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Bash and Python for deployment scripting, pre/post-upgrade hooks, and automation tooling. - Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with managed Kubernetes on AWS (EKS), Azure (AKS), or GCP (GKE), including IAM integration and managed add-ons. - Service Mesh: Familiarity with Istio or Linkerd for traffic management, mTLS, and canary traffic splitting is a plus. - Monitoring: Experience integrating Prometheus ServiceMonitors, Grafana dashboards, and alerting rules into Helm chart templates. - Communication: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce clear documentation and onboard engineering teams on deployment standards. .
