Hydrocarbon Accounting & Energy Components Specialist

Role Overview: You will be the Hydrocarbon Accounting & Energy Components Specialist, bringing your expertise to support global Oil & Gas operators. Your role will involve deep domain knowledge in production accounting, hydrocarbon allocation, measurement, and reporting on the Energy Components platform. You will collaborate with customer stakeholders, operations teams, business users, and technology teams across various global locations. Energy Components experience is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Support and lead Hydrocarbon Accounting initiatives for Oil & Gas assets. - Participate in business process assessment, solution design, implementation, and operational support activities. - Analyze production, allocation, measurement, inventory, and ownership accounting processes. - Assist in hydrocarbon allocation and reconciliation activities. - Support production accounting, inventory balancing, and reporting processes. - Collaborate with production operations, production technologists, accounting teams, and business stakeholders. - Participate in Energy Components projects such as implementation, upgrade, migration, enhancement, and support. - Configure, maintain, and optimize Energy Components solutions. - Analyze production and accounting data flows for validation, reconciliation, and quality management. - Assist in interface monitoring, troubleshooting, and integration between Energy Components and enterprise platforms. - Develop functional specifications, test scenarios, and user documentation. - Support user acceptance testing, issue analysis, and root cause investigations. - Work with reporting, analytics, and data management teams to ensure data consistency. Qualification Required: - Deep domain expertise in Hydrocarbon Accounting, including production accounting, production allocation, measurement & metering, production operations, product balancing, inventory accounting, ownership accounting, production reporting, regulatory reporting, revenue accounting interfaces, joint venture accounting interfaces, and reconciliation processes. - Hands-on experience in Energy Components implementation, support, enhancements, upgrades, configuration, administration, integration, testing, and reporting. - Preferred skills in SQL, relational databases, data analysis/validation/reconciliation, interface management, ETL processes, application support, and reporting and analytics.
