Java Backend Developer Experience: 5+ Years Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Pune Job Description We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Apache Kafka . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications in a distributed environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8/11/17 . Design and implement Microservices using Spring Boot . Develop and consume RESTful APIs . Build scalable and high-availability distributed systems . Integrate messaging solutions using Apache Kafka . Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure . Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases ( Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB ). Follow secure coding and software engineering best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (Java 8/11/17) . Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture . Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs . Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka . Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms. Strong knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL, and NoSQL databases . Understanding of Distributed Systems and High-Availability Applications . Knowledge of Secure Coding Practices . Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field . Important Eligibility Criteria Candidates currently working on CITI projects or who have worked on CITI projects within the last 12 months are not eligible .
