About the role
As a Data Scientist with 8 to 12 years of experience, you will be joining a team focused on developing a Global Analytics Unit to enhance data-driven decision-making and create smart data products. Role Overview: You will be responsible for applying your expertise in machine learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype, and build next-generation analytics engines and services. Your role will involve developing and implementing complex smart data solutions, working on bleeding-edge projects, collaborating with teams to clarify project requirements, and proposing innovative solutions and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Understanding business problems and designing smart data products. - Developing complex models and algorithms to drive innovation. - Conducting advanced statistical analysis to provide actionable insights. - Collaborating with data engineers to implement scalable solutions. - Designing and implementing time-series forecasting and anomaly detection solutions. - Partnering with engineering teams to expose models through APIs and dashboards. Qualifications Required: - MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related technical discipline. - At least 5 years of experience in a statistical and/or data science role. - Expertise in Python, with experience in languages like R, MATLAB, Scala as a plus. - Strong software engineering skills and familiarity with best practices. - Experience in deploying models to real-world systems and building cloud-based ML solutions. - Familiarity with tools like pandas, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, SciPy, Spark, RDBMs, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. - Fluent English communication skills.
