Mechanical Engineer

Job Description: As a Mechanical Design Engineer at HCL Technologies, Bangalore, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in design and development of Electromechanical systems/subsystems, along with creating conceptual designs in UG NX. Your key responsibilities will include: - Proficiency in UG NX CAD software to create 3D models, plastic, machined, sheet metal, 2D drawings, surface modeling, and assemblies. - Hands-on experience in sheet metal parts and plastic design and manufacturing. - Demonstrated experience in the design and development of Electromechanical products and subsystems. - Sound knowledge in manufacturability considerations for plastic, sheet metal, machined, and structural components. - Design of MCAD PCB, EMN/EMP verification, board outline definition, and application of DFM/DFA concepts. - Familiarity with the latest engineering design methods, tools, and processes. - Proficiency in the standard NPI/NPD process from ideation to production. - Hands-on experience in Teamcenter PDM/PLM for managing the lifecycle of components, ECO/ECR, and EBOM creation. - Ability to create and review engineering drawings, understand GD&T principles, conduct tolerance stack-up analysis, and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes. Qualification Required: - Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical or Production Engineering. Additional Details: You will get to work in the domain of Mechanical Design in Consumer Electronics.
