Job Description Network Engineer L2 Experience 3+ years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Network Engineering, Operations, and Architecture supporting large-scale distributed environments. Key Responsibilities Provide L2 support for complex network, security, wireless, SD-WAN, and cloud infrastructure issues. Design, implement, optimize, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, Cloud, and Security solutions. Lead major incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Application teams to ensure high availability and performance. Maintain network documentation, standards, and operational procedures. Technical Skills Routing & Switching Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus (9K/7K/5K/2K), Catalyst, ISR/ASR Routers, and multi-vendor switching platforms (Cisco, Aruba, HP, Juniper, Dell). Expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, STP, HSRP/VRRP, Multicast, QoS, PBR, and Load Balancing. Wireless Extensive experience with Cisco WLC, Cisco Catalyst Wireless, Aruba Wireless, and Meraki Wireless. Strong knowledge of WLAN design, RF troubleshooting, access point deployment, and wireless security. Load Balancing & WAN Optimization Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM and GTM. Experience with WAN Optimization solutions such as Riverbed and Cisco WAAS. Network Security Strong experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point Firewalls. Knowledge of VPNs, NAT, IPS/IDS, URL Filtering, SSL Inspection, and Network Segmentation. SD-WAN Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) and Fortinet SD-WAN solutions. NAC & DDI Strong experience with Cisco ISE (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, Device Profiling). Experience managing Infoblox DDI, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments. Cloud Networking Experience with AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud networking. Knowledge of VPC/VNET, Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, VPN, Load Balancers, and Cloud Security controls. Monitoring & Troubleshooting Experience with SolarWinds and other network monitoring tools. Advanced troubleshooting using Wireshark, packet capture analysis, FTP/SFTP, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, and NTP. Process & Soft Skills Strong understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in a global 24x7 support environment and mentor junior engineers. Preferred Certifications CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, NSE4/5/7, F5 Certified Administrator, Aruba Certifications, AWS/Azure Networking Certifications, ITIL Foundation. Nice to Have Cisco ACI, Data Center technologies, SASE, ZTNA, Network Automation (Python/Ansible), IPv6, and Network Orchestration tools. .
