About the role
As an experienced and highly skilled Network Manager with Arista expertise, your role will involve providing expert-level configuration, implementation, and support for Arista-based network solutions across enterprise environments. You will interact with customers and internal teams to understand network requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver effective solutions. Monitoring and optimizing performance of Arista-based infrastructure, including switches, routers, and management platforms will be crucial. Additionally, you will assist in deploying and managing leaf-spine architectures, VXLAN, EVPN, and MLAG configurations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support data center and campus network initiatives is also expected. Your responsibilities will include maintaining up-to-date documentation on configurations, standards, and procedures, participating in incident response and problem management, and utilizing tools like CloudVision Portal (CVP), Wireshark, and automation frameworks (e.g., eAPI, Ansible) for configuration management and monitoring. Supporting patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of network devices will also be part of your key responsibilities. Qualifications required for this role include: - 12+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, with at least 6-8 years focused on Arista networks. - Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, including protocols such as BGP, OSPF, STP, VXLAN, and EVPN. - Hands-on experience with Arista EOS, CloudVision, and eAPI or equivalent automation tools. - Familiarity with network automation using Python, Ansible, or similar frameworks. - Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills in large-scale or high-availability environments. - Strong communication and customer-facing skills, with the ability to translate technical details for various audiences. - Knowledge of network security, access control, and segmentation practices. Preferred skills and certifications include: - Arista ACE certification (Level 2 or higher). - Experience with multi-vendor environments (e.g., Cisco). - Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure connectivity). - Exposure to network monitoring tools such as NetBox, PRTG, or SolarWinds.
