SAP Basis Product Specialist

Bengaluru, Karnataka Job Summary The Product Specialist (SAP Basis S/4HANA Upgrade & Migration) is responsible for the effective implementation of SAP Basis S/4HANA Upgrade & Migration strategies. The role involves overseeing and managing the upgrade and migration process to ensure a seamless transition to S/4HANA, meeting business objectives and requirements. Key Responsibilities 8-9 + years SAP Basis experience in a large-scale SAP system landscape Administer and support SAP systems including S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and other SAP components. SAP S/4HANA migrations. interfere system installations, upgrades, patching, and kernel updates. Manage SAP HANA database administration, including backups, restores, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness. Participates in on-call Tier 3 production support activities. Is expected to have the technical knowledge and capability to handle most problems that may arise. Performs SAP Basis administration and technical core tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, Support Packages, patches, and fixes, installation of add-on software components. Maintain multi-landscape environments through environment copies, system refreshes and transport management. Ability to provide quick resolution of the problems ensuring minimal downtime to the business . Skill Requirements 1. In-depth knowledge of sap basis administration and s/4hana architecture. 2. Proficiency in sap system upgrades, migrations, and conversions. 3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in sap environments. 4. Experience with system testing, performance tuning, and monitoring in sap landscapes. 5. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams. 6. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
