Noida, Uttar Pradesh Job Summary The Product Specialist (SAP Basis S/4HANA Upgrade & - Migration) is responsible for the effective implementation of SAP Basis S/4HANA Upgrade & - Migration strategies. The role involves overseeing and managing the upgrade and migration process to ensure a seamless transition to S/4HANA, meeting business objectives and requirements. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities SAP BASIS Administration Perform SAP BASIS administration for SAP S/4HANA landscapes hosted on RISE with SAP. Manage client administration, system configuration, and technical operations. Monitor SAP systems for performance, availability, and stability. Analyze system logs, dumps, alerts, and performance bottlenecks. Coordinate system refreshes, system copies, and landscape administration activities. Support SAP kernel updates, SPS upgrades, and technical maintenance activities in collaboration with SAP RISE teams Transport Management Configure and maintain SAP Transport Management System (TMS). Manage transport imports across Development, Quality, and Production environments. Coordinate transport deployments and release management activities. Support ChaRM and change management processes. Ensure transport compliance and audit readiness. SAP HANA & - Performance Management Monitor SAP HANA database performance and system health. Analyze workload, memory consumption, and system resource utilization. Support HANA parameter reviews and performance tuning activities. Coordinate with SAP and hyperscaler teams for technical issues impacting performance. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents. RISE Operations & - Coordination Act as primary coordination point between customer, SAP RISE operations team, and application teams. Manage incidents, service requests, changes, and problem management activities. Coordinate SAP Notes implementation and technical remediation activities. Support SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Solution Manager processes. Participate in release planning, maintenance windows, and upgrade activities. Monitoring & - Operations Monitor and administer: Background Jobs Batch Processing RFC Connections Printers and Spool Management Interfaces System Availability Performance Metrics Perform proactive health checks and system audits. Review SAP EarlyWatch Alert (EWA) reports and recommend corrective actions. Security & - Compliance Support SAP security compliance activities. Coordinate implementation of SAP Security Notes. Perform user administration and technical authorization activities. Support audit requirements and vulnerability assessments. Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies. Upgrade, Migration & - Cutover Support Participate in S/4HANA upgrade, conversion, and migration projects. Support cutover planning and execution. Execute technical validation activities during project deployments. Coordinate with infrastructure, functional, development, security, and integration teams during go-lives.
