About the role
SAP EAM Consultant Key Responsibilities Lead and support SAP EAM (PM) enhancements, bug fixes, troubleshooting errors, resolving P1/P2 incidents, and support during upgrades Gather and analyze business requirements related to asset management and maintenance processes Configure SAP EAM components including: Maintenance Planning & Scheduling Work Order Management Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Notifications and Breakdown Processing Measuring Points, Counters, and Maintenance Plans Design and optimize asset structures (functional locations, equipment, BOMs, task lists) Integrate SAP EAM with other SAP modules such as MM, WM, FI/CO, PS , and SAP S/4HANA Support data migration, master data governance, and asset hierarchies Develop functional specifications and support technical developments (enhancements, workflows, reports) Perform system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and resolve defects Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on best practices and process improvements Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EAM / SAP PM Strong understanding of asset-intensive business processes Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA EAM Proven configuration experience across core EAM components Knowledge of maintenance strategies, reliability concepts, and asset lifecycle management Experience working in implementation projects and support environments Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Desirable Skills SAP EAM certification (ECC or S/4HANA) Experience with SAP MRS, SAP Asset Manager, or SAP FSM Experience in asset-heavy industries (utilities, mining, manufacturing, transport) Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project methodologies Education Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Key Competencies Stakeholder management Business process optimization Solution design and documentation Attention to detail Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
