Senior Administrator - Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)

As a Senior Administrator specializing in Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing next-generation data center networks while also automating network provisioning, configuration, and operations to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, configure, and manage Cisco ACI-based data center networks. - Implement and maintain ACI fabric components including APIC controllers, leaf/spine switches. - Configure ACI constructs such as: - Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains (BDs) - Application Profiles and Endpoint Groups (EPGs) - Contracts and policies - Integrate ACI with: - Physical servers and virtualization platforms (VMware) - L4L7 services (firewalls, load balancers) - Monitor ACI fabric health, performance, and faults using APIC tools. - Troubleshoot fabric, policy, endpoint connectivity, and segmentation issues. - Support ACI upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management. - Develop and implement network automation frameworks using tools like Python, Ansible, and REST APIs. - Create reusable automation scripts for device configuration, compliance checks, and backup operations. - Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and implement zero-touch provisioning. - Support data center networking concepts including VXLAN, EVPN, and spine-leaf architecture. - Provide L2/L3 support for ACI and automated network environments. - Maintain documentation, collaborate with other teams, and ensure security and compliance. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics / Telecommunications. - Relevant experience in data center networking and automation. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. In this role, you will be expected to have strong hands-on experience in Cisco ACI, deep understanding of spine-leaf architecture, VXLAN/EVPN, data center networking concepts, network automation, Python scripting, Ansible / Terraform, REST APIs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and knowledge of network virtualization and segmentation. Experience with Cisco ACI (APIC, Nexus switches), automation tools, version control, and monitoring/telemetry tools will be beneficial.
