Senior Android Middleware Service Developer

Key Responsibilities Understand requirements and feature specifications for Android automotive systems. Perform Android 14 platform analysis and identify AOSP extension areas. Design and implement AOSP extensions for automotive applications. Develop and integrate Android Middleware components for infotainment and cluster systems. Migrate/reuse existing middleware components into Android 14 . Create detailed test specifications and execute test cases. Perform regression testing and automation (as required). Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system-level and middleware issues. Required Skills & Experience 12–16 years of experience in Android automotive-based development, especially in the AOSP area. Strong experience in Software Architecture analysis and design . Proven expertise in middleware component development for infotainment and cluster systems. Proficient programming skills in Java and C++ . Hands-on experience with GIT and Gerrit version control systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex middleware and system-level issues. Preferred Attributes Exposure to Android 14 migration and platform upgrade projects. Experience in automation frameworks and scripting. Familiarity with automotive standards and protocols.
