Senior Group Technical Architect

As a Solution Architect Retail & Commerce (GenAI) based in Noida, you will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions with a focus on omnichannel retail systems, eCommerce platforms, and AI-driven use cases. Your role will involve owning end-to-end solution architecture, leading GenAI-driven solution design, collaborating with business stakeholders, evaluating technology stacks, and mentoring development teams. Key Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end solution architecture for retail and commerce engagements, from presales to delivery. - Design scalable architectures for eCommerce, omnichannel retail, POS, order management, inventory, pricing, promotions, and supply chain systems. - Lead GenAI-driven solution design for personalized product recommendations, conversational commerce, AI-driven search, merchandising, demand forecasting, and automated content generation. - Define architecture using cloud-native, microservices-based, and API-first approaches. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, platforms, and frameworks aligned with business goals. - Drive architecture governance, design reviews, and best practices across projects. - Support presales activities including solutioning, estimations, proposals, and client presentations. - Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability, and cost optimization standards. - Mentor development and engineering teams on architecture and design patterns. Required Technical Skills: Retail & Commerce Domain: - Omnichannel retail architecture - eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, or equivalent) - OMS, WMS, POS integrations - Customer data platforms (CDP), CRM integrations GenAI & AI/ML: - Hands-on experience with Generative AI models (LLMs) - Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI or similar - Prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI orchestration patterns - AI governance, ethical AI, and data privacy considerations Cloud & Architecture: - Cloud platforms: Azure / AWS / GCP (Azure preferred) - Microservices, event-driven architecture, REST/GraphQL APIs - Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes - CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Integration & Data: - Enterprise integration patterns - Streaming & messaging (Kafka, Event Hub, etc.) - Data platforms, analytics, and AI pipelines Required Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - 10+ years of IT experience with at least 35 years as a Solution Architect. - Proven track record delivering Retail / Commerce transformation programs. - Experience working with global clients and cross-functional teams. - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage C-level and business stakeholders. Good to Have: - TOGAF or cloud certifications (Azure/AWS Architect). - Experience with headless commerce and composable architecture. - Exposure to AI-driven personalization and recommendation engines. - Experience in large-scale retail migrations or modernization programs.
