Track Manager - Azure DevOps, Terraform (Hyderabad)

Hyderabad, Telangana Job Summary We are looking for an individual with a passion for both development and infrastructure, who dreams of programmatically controlling the full stack needed to run high-quality SaaS products. The Principal DevOps engineer will be part of a dynamic team, collaborating with the Nuance Cloud Application Delivery to build out a release pipeline for their products and services. The DevOps engineer will be participating by helping to ensure the infrastructure portion of the service stack has an SDLC and that the processes and environments force quality and correctness into the delivery cycle prioritizing service Availability, Performance, Capacity, Security and Compliance. The successful candidate will be recognized as a powerful voice in the DevOps/infrastructure-as-code domain, able to articulate deep and broad knowledge in a SaaS environment. You will take complete ownership of issues and of the success of your customers and peers in the build and support of this internal PaaS offering. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead operations management by implementing advanced DevOps automation using Terraform and Azure DevOps, ensuring high availability and compliance of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and Kubernetes resources. 2. Drive process improvements by designing and optimizing workflows with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager, to streamline provisioning and management of cloud assets. 3. Ensure robust support and incident resolution for Azure environments by utilizing monitoring and troubleshooting tools, maintaining SLAs, and providing escalation support for complex issues. 4. Mentor and empower team members on best practices in IaC, Terraform modules, and Azure DevOps pipelines, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and operational excellence. 5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions using Azure and Terraform, and ensure delivery aligns with organizational and client objectives. 6. Innovate by researching, evaluating, and integrating emerging DevOps tools and Azure services, recommending solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security. 7. Champion continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data, identifying areas for automation, and leading the adoption of new processes or technologies. Skill Requirements Knowledge and hands on experience with Linux (Red Hat Linux, admin, networking, scripting) Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform HCL or Azure ARM Knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) Knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud Native Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, LXC, Helm, Prometheus Understanding Java, JVM and application servers concepts Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, UDP, VPN, DNS, TLS) Basic knowledge of Computer security Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Self-motivated & willing to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Able to take direction and then deliver work autonomously Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). You will take complete ownership of issues and of the success of your customers and peers in the build and support of this internal PaaS offering. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nResponsibilities: \r\n\r\nBuild, deploy and maintain our infrastructure as code on large scale multi-site deployments using Terraform. \r\n\r\nDevelop CI/CD pipelines to deploy software in a cloud native platform (Azure, Kubernetes) \r\n\r\nAutomate workflows to help push the limit of the infrastructure - Troubleshoot issues until root causes are understood on high traffic production systems. \r\n\r\nImplement and enforce best DevOps and security practices. \r\n\r\nBe responsible for identifying bottlenecks and improving performance of our infrastructure .
