As an Architect specializing in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), you play a crucial role in designing scalable, high-performing, and sustainable EWM solutions. Your responsibilities include collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to translate complex warehouse operations requirements into architectural blueprints that adhere to enterprise standards and support successful delivery and maintenance of EWM capabilities within the broader supply chain ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: - Translate business goals and supply chain strategies into comprehensive EWM solution architectures - Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovations aligned with warehouse management objectives - Develop and maintain architectural standards and roadmaps for EWM and related domains - Lead end-to-end architecture and solution design for EWM projects, including greenfield implementations, rollouts, and enhancements - Ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and technical integrity with product managers, business analysts, and development teams - Provide technical support during implementation and post-go-live phases, troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing performance - Guide teams in best practices for system sustainability, monitoring, and lifecycle management - Provide architectural mentoring and guidance to cross-functional technical teams - Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team - Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive shared outcomes Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field - Certifications in SAP EWM, TOGAF, or related architecture frameworks, Agile or Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) is a plus - 9-12 years of experience in designing and implementing IT solutions, with a minimum of 4 years focused on SAP EWM - Strong background in warehouse operations and logistics, coupled with deep technical understanding of EWM system design - Demonstrated experience in SAP S/4HANA and integration with related modules (MM, WM, SD, TM) - Expertise in SAP EWM architecture and configuration - Ability to define non-functional requirements related to performance, scalability, and maintainability - Experience in cloud-based deployment models (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS) - Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices - Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies in warehouse environments (e.g., IoT, automation systems) - Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data models and simplifications relevant to EWM This job role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to drive the successful delivery and support of EWM solutions.
