HDR Michigan, Inc. is seeking a Drawing Assistant to join our growing, nationally ranked Power Delivery team. Key Responsibilities Assist engineering teams by supporting drawing, checking in, checking out, procedures Catalogue and filing documents and drawings Transmitting engineering-related drawings and information to the HDR engineering team as well as HDR clients. This position involves following an exact process repeatedly with a high degree of quality as well as effectively communicating issues regarding the process with the team. Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Bentley MicroStation Working knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise Understands CAD drawing attributes Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments Familiarity and understanding of construction drawings and documents Works well in a team environment and communicates well with many different team members Able to consistently handle deadlines and prioritize work Ability to respond to a changing and evolving process as well as learn new tasks. Excellent organization skills Associate degree preferred Preference given to local candidates #LI-EV1 Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented Ability to handle confidential information Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
