About the role
As a Data Science Intern at our company, you will be supporting the Supply Chain team by utilizing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making processes. This role is perfect for a student or recent graduate in Data Science, who possesses strong analytical, visualization, and data engineering skills. While a background in supply chain is not mandatory, a keen interest in working with intricate data sets is crucial. Role Overview: - Develop statistical and machine learning models to analyze and interpret supply chain data. - Build and optimize Power BI dashboards to generate actionable insights. - Utilize R or Python for cleaning, processing, and analyzing large datasets. - Assist in data engineering tasks such as data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). - Conduct exploratory data analysis and create visualizations to effectively communicate findings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. - Proficient in statistical analysis and data modeling. - Hands-on experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization. - Proficiency in R or Python for data analysis and automation. - Familiarity with data engineering concepts like ETL, data pipelines, and SQL. - Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with machine learning or predictive analytics. - Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure. - Understanding of business intelligence (BI) tools beyond Power BI.
