What's the role Robust coding expertise in Java / Scala / Python, with ability to design and maintain complex services Lead the development of features and platform enhancements with endtoend ownership Hands-on experience architecting, developing and operating scalable services on AWS Communicate technical designs through proposals, design specs, diagrams Collaborate effectively with globally distributed stakeholders including architects, PMs, and cross-functional teams Drive engineering best practices with a focus on simplicity, quality, and measurable impact (Valuable to have) Make balanced technical decisions, managing trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability Recommend and justify architectural or product changes using data-driven reasoning and technical depth Mentor team members and contribute to improving engineering culture, processes, and standards Who are you Feature Development & Ownership: Endtoend delivery of features AWS: Ability to design, develop and maintain scalable AWS services. Technical Communication: Writing proposals, design specs, diagrams. DecisionMaking & TradeOffs: Balancing speed, quality, and maintainability. Mentorship & Best Practices: Coaching peers, improving engineering culture. AIAssisted Development: Using Copilot for coding, debugging, testing, documentation.
