Workday Financial Consultant

Role Overview: As a Workday Financial Consultant, your role will involve providing subject matter expertise in finance modules within Workday. You will be responsible for offering functional finance solutions in various modules, focusing on core finance accounting. Your duties will include ensuring cohesion and cross-functional integration of Workday Financials solutions, understanding and analyzing business needs for the Finance Accounting module, configuring BP, security, setups, data conversion, testing, and reports within the Finance module. Additionally, you will collaborate with Business teams/SMEs to identify requirements, design functionalities, prototype test, define support procedures, and manage clients and stakeholders effectively to achieve project objectives. Your role will also involve supporting innovation by introducing new industry-leading methods. Key Responsibilities: - Provide subject matter expertise in finance modules within Workday - Ensure cohesion and cross-functional integration of Workday Financials solutions - Understand and analyze business needs for the Finance Accounting module - Configure BP, security, setups, data conversion, testing, and reports within the Finance module - Collaborate with Business teams/SMEs to identify requirements, design functionalities, prototype test, and define support procedures - Manage clients and stakeholders effectively to achieve project objectives - Support innovation by introducing new industry-leading methods Qualification Required: - Must have the ability to use the Workday finance accounting module with proficiency - Additional knowledge in supplier & customer accounts/contracts, financial reporting, and planning within Workday - Understanding of Workday application development methodologies including planning, design, testing, deployment, and post-production support - Strong ability to manage clients and stakeholders - Ability to translate business needs into effective Workday solutions - Preferably to have Workday finance functional certification in finance accounting (Record to Report Workday certification) - BE / Masters degree in Computer Science/Application (MCA, MSc Computer Science etc.) from the Premier Institute.
