About the role
Join Superblock, an AI-powered SaaS platform, as a Backend Software Engineer Intern and gain hands-on experience building scalable cloud-native applications on AWS. You'll work on real production features, backend APIs, cloud services, and integrations used by businesses every day. Responsibilities - Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. - Build and consume RESTful APIs. - Design, develop, and optimize scalable database solutions. - Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda. - Integrate AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge, and CloudWatch. - Debug, optimize, and maintain backend applications. - Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Requirements - Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript. - Familiarity with Node.js and REST APIs. - Basic understanding of databases (MongoDB or SQL,Dynamo DB). - Knowledge of Git and version control. - Solid problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn. Preferred Skills - Express.js or Next.js - AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS) - Docker - CI/CD - Serverless architecture What You'll Gain - Experience building a production SaaS platform on AWS. - Mentorship from experienced software engineers. - Exposure to scalable backend architecture and cloud infrastructure. - Internship certificate and the opportunity for a full-time role based on performance. Initially, this is a 2-month internship. Based on performance, outstanding interns may be considered for a full-time opportunity. Compensation: This internship follows a performance-based commission model. While there is no fixed monthly stipend during the internship period, interns will have the opportunity to earn commissions based on their performance and contributions.
