Were Hiring: QA Artist Location: Chennai Company: Hexr Factory About Hexr Factory: Hexr Factory is a next-generation technology studio building immersive, real-time digital experiences across XR, game-enginedriven content, AI, and advanced visualization. Role Overview: Were looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound QC Analyst - 3D to audit, validate, and uphold quality standards across our 3D asset pipeline and Unreal Engine level designs. Youll act as the final checkpoint before integrationspotting issues that could affect performance, visuals, or user experience. If you're meticulous, well-versed in 3D modeling best practices, and passionate about Unreal Engine, you might be the right fit. Key Responsibilities: 3D Asset Validation: Verify topology, UVs, texel density, LODs, pivot orientation, and naming conventions.Ensure assets meet polycount, performance, and export standards for real-time environments.Audit and validate PBR workflows.Confirm adherence to naming conventions and file management protocols. Application / Unreal QA: Review Unreal Engine levels for hierarchy, organization, collision setup, and asset placement accuracy.Validate application functionalities, interactions, and UI/UX elements to ensure alignment with the brief and defined criteria.Identify and report performance issues or anomalies. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain QA logs, checklists, and standardized test cases.Provide artists and designers with clear, actionable feedback.Track recurring issues and escalate critical blockers to leads. Required Skills & Qualification: Strong understanding of 3D modeling workflows, PBR materials, and asset optimization.Working knowledge of Unreal Engine.Proficiency in HindiFamiliarity with tools such as Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and relevant formats (.fbx, .obj).Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for providing constructive feedback.
